Albums Galore: Trust, The Wooden Sky, and The Cranberries

Trust – TRST
I have been waiting a long time for this album! I saw Trust for the first time in 2010 when they opened for Zola Jesus and ever since it’s been true love. The dark and dank, drug-induced, electro beats are a total night starter and good for ending a night of crazy partying too. You can buy their album via arts and crafts or you can listen to a stream of their album right here and now!
The Wooden Sky – Every Child a Daughter, Every Moon a Sun
On a completely different note, The Wooden Sky have released their long-awaited newest LP promising a well-anticipated tour through Canada. They will be playing their next show in Toronto on April 20th at the Opera House. You don’t want to miss it, check out these awesome The Wooden Sky YouTube videos from the concert last year where they played a show behind Lee’s Palace and then played in the middle of Bloor Street, much to the discontent of oncoming traffic.

You can stream their new album at Paste Magazine.
The Cranberries – Roses
The Cranberries are back after a hiatus where each of them explored their own artistic paths. Last week they were on Q with Jian Ghomeshi where they spoke about their album and how it is definitely inspired by their older work from the 90s that most of us in North America know and love.
I couldn’t find an album stream for this but here is the music video for Tomorrow:
Today is a good day for music.
